Armand de Brignac rolls out Blanc de Noirs
Champagne Armand de Brignac has rolled its latest, and most expensive, prestige cuvée into further markets worldwide following its exclusive launch at Harrods earlier this year.
The Blanc de Noirs is made from purely Pinot Noir grapes and will sell for a RRP of US$800 (around £550 to £600).
The Champagne itself is made from grapes grown in Montagne de Reims, Champagne, from a blend of three different vintages.
Armand de Brignac was bought outright by rapper Jay-Z from Sovereign Brands in November last year, and is produced by Champagne Cattier.
“Our objective with this new cuvee was to create a highly memorable and unique champagne,” said winemaker Jean Jacques Cattier. “The Blanc de Noirs will elevate your tasting and culinary experience, with layers of complexity, power and, most importantly, finesse.”
The Blanc de Noirs is presented in a metallic black bottle, inspired by the black grapes from which it is made. Each bottle is hand polished and features a pewter label, and comes housed in a wooden presentation box. Less than 3,000 bottles will be marketed worldwide.
The new Blanc de Noirs of Armand de Brignac was launched exclusively in the British luxury store Harrods in September. Starting today, the Blanc de Noirs will be sold in select retail outlets around the world with an RRP of $800.
