Top wine students receive awards
Students taking degree courses in Wine Business and Wine Production at Plumpton College, the UK agricultural business school, have received their awards.

The Foundation degree and BA students received their degree certificates and awards at the annual ceremony last week.
Chris Boiling, Roger Fox, Inmaculada Ollero Bianchi, Chris Sherry, Ben Smith and Ciara Wong all received awards as top students in their respective degrees.
Ms Wong took three awards away with her from the event. She won the Wine Cup for the top student sponsored by Hakkasan, the Liscio Glassware Trophy for best Wine Business blind wine taster and the Sir David Orr shield for Top Higher Education student.
She said: “It has been a real pleasure sharing the Plumpton experience with my fellow students”, and added the experience had been “rewarding and challenging”.
Ben Smith took home the Wine Bowl sponsored by Bibendum as well as his Bachelor of Arts degree in Wine Business. Chris Boiling won a UKVA Wine Cooler for top student on the Wine Production Foundation degree.
Chris Sherry won the award for top practical student on the Wine Production degree course.
The Michael Currivan cup ,sponsored by Vigo Ltd for the best students on the Viticulture and Oenology BSc, went to Roger Fox and Inmaculada Ollero Bianchi, who also received the award for the best project written by a higher education student.
