Polignac Cognac targets summer sips and Fathers’ day
To mark Fathers’ Day and the coming of summer, Maison Prince Hubert de Polignac is turning the spotlight on one of its best-sellers – its VSOP.
The VSOP retails in France at €26 for a 70cl bottle
With “delicate flavours” of “toast and woody vanilla”, along with hints of “crystallised peach and plum” according to the Maison, its VSOP is seeking to “charm” fathers in search of a “gourmet Cognac” for the special day on 21 June.
Pushing its suitability for cocktails, Maison Prince Hubert de Polignac is also calling for fans to embrace the onset of summer with the Maison Prince Hubert de Polignac twist – the Polignac French Mojito and Polignac Tonic.
Prince Hubert de Polignac VSOP is the second biggest-selling Cognac brand in France, and it also performs well internationally.
The VSOP is crafted with no fewer than 70 different eaux-de-vie, of which 70% come from Petite Champagne.
Finally, although the regulations demand just four years of maturing, Maison Prince Hubert de Polignac insists on eight years of maturing in casks.
