M&B pushes Help for Heroes wine
UK bar and restaurant operator Mitchells & Butlers has added charity Help for Heroes’ wines to the lists in 800 of its pubs to raise money for the British Armed Forces charity.
One pound from the sale of each bottle will go toward the Help for Heroes charity.
Available in M&B’s Sizzling Pubs, Crown Carveries and O’Neill’s for £12 to £13, the Help for Heroes Shiraz and Help for Heroes Sauvignon Blanc are produced by Spier, one of the oldest wine farms in South Africa’s Western Cape, and distributed in collaboration with PLB.
One pound from the sale of each bottle will go toward the charity which supports those who have suffered life-changing injuries while serving in the armed forces.
Support is offered through grants to individuals, other service charities and four Recovery Centres across the UK which offer a wide range of support for all stages of life.
The wine will also be available online in cases from Tesco, Rude Wines and Buy Great Wine.
Earlier this year Tesco launched a beer in collaboration with Help for Heroes, selling it for £1.97 with five pence from every sale going towards the charity.
