The driver was arrested after he was spotted storming down a street in Chisago County, Minnesota, in a front-end loader bulldozer at 1am on Sunday, as reported by CBS Minnesota.
The intoxicated man told police that he had only chosen the unconventional mode of transport because he thought it was snowing outside.
Despite the man driving under the influence, officers at the county sheriff’s office seemed to have a good sense of humour about the incident later writing on its Facebook page: “‘I don’t always drive my front end loader to Stacy, but when I do, I am probably drunk.’ This guy was, and thought it was snowing out.”
