First ever pedal powered cocktail shaker
To celebrate London Cocktail Week, Hendrick’s Gin is launching what it claims is the world’s first pedal-powered cocktail shaker.
Combining velocipedal travel with mixology, “The Boneshaker” uses the rotating motion of the cycle wheels to simultaneously create six mixed drinks.
The apparatus will be on display in the Hendrick’s Boneshaker Cocktail Bar during London Cocktail Week where cocktail enthusiasts will be able to sample vigorously shaken Boneshaker Radlers and low alcoholic beer tipples including The Ramos Gin Fizz.
To celebrate the end of the day Hendrick’s will also present “The No Rush Hour Society”, inviting customers to raise a glass as the clock strikes six for cocktail hour.
Spaces to the event are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis from 6-7pm on Thursday 9th through to Sunday 12th October.
The Hendrick’s Boneshaker Bar will be open Thursday 9th– Sunday 12th from 13:00-21:00pm in Brooks B1886 Store, 36 Earlham Street, WC2H 9LH.
