New US executive for Zonin

Italian wine producers Casa Vinicola Zonin have announced the appointment of Timothy Matz to their US unit as general manager & executive vice president.

Matz’s experience in the wine and spirits industry includes general management, sales and marketing at both domestic and international level.

His background includes roles at Fosters Wine Estates, Jackson Family Group, Foley Family Wines and Brown-Forman to name a few.

And drawing on this wine business background, Matz has been tasked to implement new strategies for Zonin USA.

“The Unites States are and will always be Casa Vinicola Zonin’s number one priority as far as export markets are concerned” commented Massimo Tuzzi, Casa Vinicola Zonin chief operating officer and Zonin USA CEO.

He continued, “We are convinced that together with Tim and in liaison with our directors, we will be able to manage and lead the company to a brighter future, helping the Zonin family of brands establish themselves and grow further in the United States.”
