Self-serve beer machines head to Milwaukee
A second Major League Baseball team, the Milwaukee Brewers, has installed new self-serve beer machines at its home stadium.
The machines were trialed at Target Field, home of the Minnesota Twins, in July and allow fans to pick and pour various measures of their preferred beer from a set list.
As at Target Field, Brewers fans (over 21) can buy their beer by purchasing a pre-paid card which is slotted into the machine in order to place an order and from which the requisite sum is then deducted.
Beers to be served at Miller Park include Miller lite, Miller High life, Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy and Redd’s Apple Ale.
It has to be said, there couldn’t be a more appropriately named sports franchise in the world this news is applicable to.
