Bloom adds classy twist to RTDs
Bloom gin has worked with upmarket UK soft drinks producer Fentiman’s to add a pre-mixed gin & rose lemonade offering to its range.
The pairing has been designed as a complementary match between Bloom Gin’s lighter, floral style, based on botanicals such as honeysuckle and camomile, and Fentiman’s rose lemonade, which is made with real lemon juice and rose otto oil from Bulgaria.
It follows on from the earlier creation of Bloom gin & Fentiman’s tonic, which launched in the UK on- and off-trade back in 2012.
Highlighting the success of this initial collaboration, Bloom gin’s international brand manager Kate Harrison said: “Due to the encouraging sales of Bloom Gin & Fentiman’s Tonic, we were delighted to be working with Fentiman’s again to launch this unusual yet highly appealing variety, Bloom Gin & Rose Lemonade.”
As for the target market for this gin, which was created by Master Distiller Joanne Moore, Harrison observed: “We have found that our delicate and floral gin appeals to female drinkers and feel sure that this new variety will be a popular purchase for summer picnics, parties or just keeping in the fridge at home.”
Bloom Gin & Rose Lemonade is available now from Waitrose with an RRP of £3 per 275ml bottle.
