The bizarre theft happened on Tuesday at about 1am when a man seemingly broke through a wall with his bare hands gaining entry to a liquor store in South Carolina, according to reports by wjcl.com.
Having tunnelled his way into the store, the thief made his way to its fridge taking a 12-pack of beer before exiting the same way he came in, leaving police baffled.
It is not clear how the man was able to bore a hole through the brick wall big enough for him to gain access.
A CCTV still of the suspect has been released by the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office in a bid to track down the thief, who was wearing a red shirt with a large tear on the back, blue jeans, gloves and a black rag over his face.
