The deal will mean Laurent Perrier Champagne will be served at all of the Estate’s retail outlets and events, ten affiliated properties, including the Devonshire Arms at Bolton Abbey and The Cavendish Hotel in Baslow, and for the Devonshire family’s private consumption.
Chatsworth Estate, set in the Peak District in Derbyshire, is home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, and has been passed down through 16 generations of the Cavendish family.
David Hesketh, MW and MD of Laurent-Perrier UK, said: “We’re thrilled to have successfully agreed this partnership. Chatsworth is a tremendous stately home and welcomes thousands of visitors each year as well as hosting a variety of high profile events. This is a very significant arrangement for us and we’re delighted Laurent-Perrier has been selected for its House style of lightness, freshness and elegance.”
Richard Reynolds, chief executive of the Devonshire Group, added: ”We are very much looking forward to working in partnership with Laurent-Perrier over the next three years, and are sure that Laurent-Perrier and its stable of wonderful Champagnes will be very well received by everyone who visits or joins us at one of our many events.”
Every year 700,000 people visit Chatsworth Estate for its house, garden, farmyard and adventure playground, and park.
It also hosts events throughout the year including weddings, conferences and dinners, as well as its two large flagship events; the Chatsworth Country Fair and the Chatsworth International Horse Trials.

Your sub-heading refers to Chatsworth as being “Devonshire-based”. Whilst the location is correctly described in the text as being in the Peak District in Derbyshire, perhaps the opening description was meant to be an ‘April fool ?’
