Benevolent and LWF team up for party
Drinks charity The Benevolent and the London Wine Fair have partnered to lay on an industry party at Kensington Roof Gardens on the last day of the fair.
The party will take place on Wednesday 4 June, the last day of the fair, which is taking place just down the road at Olympia, from 7pm to 1am.
Some 500 tickets are available and cost just £45 to help a broad selection of the trade attend.
There will be a barbeque, disco and selection of beers, wines an spirits from top producers.
Some “surprises” are also planned for throughout the evening. All proceeds will go to directly to The Benevolent to support its work with vulnerable members of the trade.
David Cox, chief executive of The Benevolent, said: “With the London Wine Fair coming back to its roots in central London, The Roof Gardens Benevolent Party is also going to accomplish two wonderfully nostalgic elements; a return to the days when there really was only ONE must-attend party during the Fair, and the fact that the original London Wine Fair used to be held underneath the Kensington Roof Gardens!
“So many members of our trade love to party and we believe The RGB Party will become ‘the talk of the town’. You will just have to be there”.
There are still opportunities to sponsor the event. To apply to sponsor or for sponsorship enquiries contact Helen Chesshire at Helen@thechesshireset.com and to buy tickets for the evening visit www.thebenevolent.org.uk/events/rgb-party or email eleanorperry@thebenvolent.org.uk
