Patrón steps up a gear
Patrón Tequila has signed a sponsorship deal with the International Motor Sports Association, extending the brand’s high profile involvement in the world of sports car racing.
As Official Spirits Partner of the IMSA, the agreement sees Patrón add the four-race North American Endurance Cup and TUDOR United Sportscar Championship to its existing sponsorship deals with other race events.
The Tequila Patrón Endurance Cup series involves a total of 52 hours racing, kicking off at the end of January with a 24-hour event a Daytona International Speedway in Florida and culminating with the 1,000 mile, 10-hour event in Atlanta on 4 October.
Announcing the partnership, Stephanie Rivera, motorsports manager at Patrón Spirits, said: “After a proud history with the American Le Mans Series, we’re very excited and honoured to continue our support of the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship and sponsorship of the Tequila Patrón North American Endurance Cup.
“This enormously competitive, energetic world-class racing truly captures what our high quality, ultra-premium luxury spirits are all about.”
