BrewDog beers stolen in warehouse raid
Masked men have raided a warehouse stealing 16,000 bottles of specialist beer.
The gang smashed their way into the warehouse of mail order company Ales By Mail in Billericay, Essex, in the early hours of Sunday, 29 December.
Four types of craft beer made by the Scottish brewers BrewDog were stolen in the raid including Moshi Moshi, Interstellar, Hobo Pop and Brixton Porter.
The stolen bottles are believed to be worth in the region of £32,000, according to The Enquirer.
Inspector Mark Rayner said: “The beers are unique in that they are specialist beers which are only available online or from specialist wholesalers.
“All the boxes and bottles regardless of flavour or type have BrewDog label on them so would be easily identifiable.
“We want to hear from anyone who has been offered any of these beers for sale or from anyone who has information about the burglary or any attempts to sell the bottles.”
Anyone with information should call Laindon police station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
