Sichel 1883 quiz winners scoop Imperial of Palmer ’82
Christmas has come early for Simon Taylor and his team from Bin Ends @ The Bear in Stroud, who have scooped an Imperial of Châteaux Palmer 1982 after winning the Sichel 1883 quiz.
Run this month to mark Sichel’s 130th anniversary of fine wine production and shipping, the six-litre bottle has a market value of over £4,000.
“Who wouldn’t be thrilled to have such a bottle? We’re all already thinking of an occasion to drink it that will be worthy of the wine,” Taylor told the drinks business.
