Wine Experience comes to London in October
Bettane and Desseauve’s London Wine Experience is returning to the capital’s Saatchi Gallery in Chelsea for the second year running.
The wine show from two of France’s most famous critics will be held on 25-26 October this year and promises to comprise 80 top wineries from France and Italy.
In 2012, the inaugural year for the Wine Experience in London, as many as 1,300 public and members of the trade went to the event, which offered visitors a chance to taste wines from high profile producers such as Domaine de Chevalier in Pessac-Léognan and Roberto Voerzio in Barolo.
Those attending were also able to enjoy a range of masterclasses exploring a number of wine regions such as Bordeaux, in which the wines of Pauillac and Margaux were compared using Châteaux Lynch-Bages and Pontet-Canet from the former commune, and Châteaux Giscours and Rauzan-Ségla from the latter.
The London show is designed to attract a mixture of wine lovers and members of the trade from sommeliers to importers in keeping with Bettane and Desseauve’s other events in Paris, Hong Kong and Shanghai. The first day is reserved for trade visitors only until 5pm.
Show details:
