Limited edition Star Trek wines on sale
A Sonoma-based winery has created a limited edition range of Star Trek wines with labels based on the original series’ most popular shows.
Created by Viansa Winery, the range is apparently a salute to the fictional wines mentioned in the show, such as Tulaberry and Bajoran spring wine, as well as the show’s fiftieth anniversary.
Only 1,701 cases are available and can be purchased at Vinport.com. The wine is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Sangiovese, Dolcetto, Tinto Cao and Tempranillo – Viansa is well-known for working with Italian and Iberian varieties.
Single wines are available from US$24.99 up to $285 for a full case.
The three wines in the collection are named after the shows; “The City of the Edge of Forever”, “Mirror Mirror” and “The Trouble with Tribbles”.
The labels were designed by Juan Ortiz, a well known artist and graphic designer who has created retro designs for each of the original episodes.
Where can I get these
My son has has three bottles of Star Trek wine: Tribbles, Mirror, and City on the Edge. He’d like to sell them. How can that be done reasonably and legally.
