Road trippers aim to rediscover French wine
As part of the French Wines with Style campaign six wine enthusiasts from Germany, Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, the UK and Russia are have embarked on a journey across France.
The six participants, including Matt Walls who was recently named Communicator of the Year at the 2013 Drinks Business Awards, are using the road trip to “rediscover French wines.”
Using the hashtag “Frenchwinetrip” the group are taking Twitter users with them on their road trip.
On Wednesday Walls wrote how impressed he was with the day’s tasting, he said: “Cracking tasting at the Syndicat Saint Chinian. Jumps in quality over the past few years, impressed.”
The road trippers also have access to a specialist audio-visual team, who will help them produce articles, photos and videos which will published online, in blogs and on social networks.
This morning the group enjoys its last day in Languedoc, before heading for Burgundy.
