Eisberg teams up with charity for “Love your liver” campaign
Alcohol-free wine brand Eisberg will once again partner with the British Liver Trust for a nationwide health campaign.
The second annual “Love Your Liver” initiative will run in January 2013 with the aim of promoting liver health.
The campaign will also encourage people to take two to three consecutive days off from alcohol per week, advice which has been endorsed by the House of Commons.
Fran Draper, Eisberg brand consultant said: “Following the success of the Love Your Liver campaign in January, we jumped at the chance to work with the British Liver Trust once again.
“Love Your Liver is a vital campaign in raising awareness of liver health and Eisberg is the perfect partner as it enables the public to cut down on their alcohol and calorie intake without depriving themselves of their favourite indulgences.”
The campaign will also include a tour of “pop up” liver clinics, which will offer the public free, non-invasive FibroScan liver tests. Visitors will also get the chance to discuss any health concerns with experts.
As well as being able to talk through practical solutions to reduce the risks of developing liver disease, the campaign offers members of the public the chance to learn about the small changes that make a big difference to liver health.
Eisberg will also offer tastings of its full range of alcohol-free wine plus a specially-produced mulled wine.
Recently rebranded, Eisberg is available in Chardonnay, Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon and Rosé and has fewer than 35 calories per 125ml glass.
The clinics will visit eight cities at the beginning of January:
Tues 8 Jan: Morrisons, Glasgow, Anniesland, G13 1JD
Wed 9 Jan: Morrisons, Middlesbrough, Berwick Hills, TS3 7PB
Thurs 10 Jan: Morrisons, Bradford, Thornbury, BD3 7HZ
Fri 11 Jan: Morrisons, Liverpool, Belle Vale, L25 2XT
Tues 15 Jan: Morrisons, Portsmouth, Victory Park Retail Park, PO1 4QP
Wed 16 Jan: Morrisons, Bristol, Cribbs Causeway, BS10 7UD
Thurs 17 Jan: Morrisons, Cardiff, Sports Village, CF11 0JP
Fri 18 Jan: Morrisons, Birmingham, Small Heath, B10 0X
This useful and timelyinitiative deserves national publicity including mainstream TV coverage. Any opportunity to taste Eisberg’s excellent range of alcohol-free wines will be welcomed. I hope that ‘Love Your Liver’ can be experienced in as many venues as possible and that people take advantage of this service to learn more about alcohol and its effect on body and mind.
Wish they could get to Cheltenham or Gloucester as a lot of people here would benefit from having a scan. Unfortunately I can’t get to Bristol or Cardiff that day.
