Adnams releases three new beers
British brewer Adnams has launched three new, limited edition beers, which the company says are “perfect for the coming autumn and winter months”.
The new additions, called Topaz Gold, English Red and Shingle Shells, will soon be available on cask in selected outlets.
Fergus Fitzgerald, head brewer at Adnams, said: “We’re really excited about our latest collection of beers. These new ales are perfect for anyone that enjoys the distinctive taste of Adnams. Shingle Shells in particular, is guaranteed to bring some festive cheer this year.”
Shingle Shells has been brewed specifically for the Christmas period and will be available on draught in November until the end of the year. The beer, which is scarlet red in colour, has “citrus aroma, slight toffee notes and a subtle dry finish.”
Topaz Gold is a pale ale with “a medium body and bitterness, with a crisp finish”, while English Red has “a fruity flavour and caramel aroma with an orange peel bitterness to balance the sweet malt flavours”.
Topaz Gold is currently available on draft in selected outlets until the end of October. English Red and Shingle Shells will also be available on draft in November until the end of the year. Five-litre mini casks will also be available to purchase online.
They’re only draft versions? When are the real ones coming out?
