Henri Giraud launches UK Champagne bar
Champagne Henri Giraud has launched its first branded Champagne bar in the UK.
The new Henri Giraud Champagne Bar
The Aÿ-based house has set up the new venue, which offers space for up to 30 people, in the courtyard of Amuse Bouche Champagne Bar in Parsons Green, West London.
Four different Champagnes from the Henri Girard range are available by both the glass and bottle: Blanc de Blancs NV, Esprit Rosé NV, Hommage à François Hémart Grand Cru and Code Noir Grand Cru NV.
These can be accompanied by a collection of canapés, including smoked ham and fig bruschetta, mini beef skewers with teriyaki sauce and wild mushroom risotto balls.
Headed by Claude Giraud, the 12th generation of the Giraud-Hémart family to take the helm, Champagne Henri Giraud owns 20 hectares of grand cru vineyards across 35 parcels, of which 26 are planted with Pinot Noir and the remaining 9ha with Chardonnay.
