Kleine Zalze announces change of UK agency
South African brand Kleine Zalze has announced its move from Stevens Garnier to Hatch Mansfield.
The move, announced today, will see the winery’s entire portfolio moved to Hatch Mansfield which previously only handled the brand’s on-trade accounts, while Stevens Garnier was responsible for the off-trade.
The move takes effect immediately and stock will be available for the independent sector by 1 September.
Managing director Kobus Basson said that Stevens Garnier had done “an exemplary job for us in the UK off-trade” but the time had apparently come for “single representation for our business in the UK”.
Hatch Mansfield’s managing director, Patrick McGrath MW, said: “We are delighted to have been chosen as the complete partner of Kleine Zalze in the UK market, making us a destination company for South African wines.
“Our team is extremely enthusiastic about working with Kleine Zalze which joins our strong portfolio of leading premium wine producers from around the world.”
