Bloom arrives in Fulham

A new bar café and kitchen opens at the end of this month on London’s Fulham Palace Road. Styling itself as a "neighbourhood rendezvous", Bloom will be open from breakfast through to lunch, afternoon tea, cocktails and dinner.

With a herb filled front terrace and separate children’s play area, Bloom is positioning itself as an informal place for Fulham locals to unwind.

The venue marks the first dining venture from owners Terry Duncan and Mark Casiraghi, who plan to open additional sites "in due course". The pair have recruited executive consultant chef Richard Merritt from gourmet caterer the Urban Caprice Group.

Dishes include sweetcorn fritters with thyme-roasted tomatoes and Trealy Farm bacon; seared red mullet with lemon fennel and saffron mayonnaise; fresh crab linguine; corn ginger soup and, from the sandwich selection, chorizo salad with kumquat chutney.

The drinks list features a selection of signature Bloom cocktails, which blend Greenall’s recently launched, top-end, feminine Bloom gin with either elderflower or sparkling wine. A selection of wine, loose leaf teas and infusions are also served.
