Hospitality charity marks 21st anniversary
Springboard, a charity which helps young, unemployed and disadvantaged people into careers within the hospitality, leisure and tourism industry, is celebrating its 21st anniversary with a fundraising party.
Due to be held on Friday 17 June in London in the Great Room of Grosvenor House in the JW Marriott Hotel on Park Lane, the evening will look back on the two decades of activities and programmes organised by Springboard to support the industry.
The evening promises a reception, gala dinner, surprise guests, silent and live auctions, a torch relay and further entertainment.
Springboard was set up to address the problem faced by the hospitality, leisure and tourism sector of recruiting UK staff with the necessary skill sets. The charity’s work sees it organise a range of programmes for millions of people across the UK.
