Private dining on offer at Harrods
Harrods has opened a private dining room in the heart of its food and wine department as a unique location for board meetings or private parties.
Set in the newly revamped Wine Rooms, the Tasting Room can cater for up to 16 guests and offers menus created by the store’s in-house chefs.
Instead of a wine list, guests can choose from the store’s 2,000 lines with a flat corkage fee of £15 a bottle. Sommeliers will also be on hand to advise on wine pairings and wine masterclasses focused on a particular grape or region can also be arranged.
The menus on the whole feature traditional British dishes such as fillet of Scottish beef, grilled baby squid and Eton mess pudding.
