Galoupet restaurant to unveil sparkling Enomatic
The owners of Côtes de Provence wine estate Château du Galoupet are launching a restaurant and wine shop in London this April.
In addition to the 32-strong selection of wines available to sample from its Enomatic machines, Galoupet will be the first London venue to carry “The Flute”, an Enomatic system specially adapted for sparkling wines.
The restaurant plans to offer up to four Champagnes by the glass, including a number of vintage options.
Located at 13 Beauchamp Place in Knightsbridge, Galoupet will draw on Mediterranean and Asian cuisines, led by chef Chris Golding, formerly of Zuma, Nobu and The Square.
The wine list will change to reflect the current menu, with a choice of several pairings for each dish. A prix fixe wine pairing menu aims to promote a value-for-money approach, despite the restaurant’s upmarket location.
The wine shop will feature the Château du Galoupet range alongside a regularly-changing selection of Old and New World wines, which will be chosen by a series of guest sommeliers.
