London’s Gourmet Odyssey
The London Restaurant Festival has released details of the 2010 Gourmet Odyssey as it enters its second year.
Ticket holders will gather before lunch at the Met Bar on 9 October for a reception hosted by Champagne GH Mumm. From there, Routemaster buses will take guests on one of four different tours around some of the capital’s top restaurants, with one course served at each venue.
Among the acclaimed chefs taking part in the Gourmet Odyssey this year are Pierre Koffmann, Theo Randall and Richard Corrigan, with restaurants including Wild Honey, The Greenhouse, Scott’s and Hibiscus.
A prestige version of the tour is available on the Piccadilly route, where diners can enjoy a range of Mumm Champagnes paired with each course.
