World of beer in Fulham
Fulham has a new outlet dedicated to over 600 bottled beers from around the world.
Dr.Ink aims to be the place to go for craft ales and micro-brewed malts from Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas, although there is a particular emphasis on UK breweries.
The outlet was set up by Shrila Amin and her cousin Jayesh Patel, who owns his own beer shrine, Westholme Stores, in Oxfordshire.
The shop will also host regular Saturday tastings, provide homemade snacks to go with various beers and stock limited edition and seasonal specials.
Canned lagers are explicitly banned from the shop and all beers must be in bottle and are arranged according to country and style.
Current recommendations include; Cave Creek Chili Beer from the US, Harvieston Ola Dubh Special Reserve 12 from Scotland matured in whisky casks from Orkney and Thornbridge Halcyon IPA from Derbyshire, UK, crowned Best Harvest Ale at the World Beer Awards 2009.
