Freixenet gets in the mix
Freixenet has launched a promotion for the on-trade designed to highlight the versatility of its cava and offer a boost to bars, clubs and pubs this summer.
With UK sparkling wine consumption increasing by 8% in the year to April 2010, the Mix With Freixenet campaign seeks to combine this popularity with the creation of long, fruity drinks ideal for shared summer drinking.
Freixenet hopes that the initiative will not only attract new customers, but also encourage groups to stay longer at the venue, with an associated increased spend on food.
A free promotional pack is available through Bibendum and its distribution arm VIVAS. The kit includes posters, table cards, branded carafes, fruit juice and straws.
Outlets which find a particularly creative way to display the point of sale material also stand to win a trip to Barcelona.
