Innis and Gunn scoops Scots’ award
One of Scotland’s most innovative brewers has been garnished with a gong at the annual Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Awards.
The Innis & Gunn Brewing Company, based in Edinburgh, has been named Business of the Year, beating 45 companies in 17 categories.
It also won three further awards: Product Innovation of the Year for its Oak Aged Beers, Best Drink for its Oak Aged Beer and International Business of the Year.
Dougal Sharp, Innis & Gunn managing director, said: “We are absolutely delighted with this achievement.
"To be acknowledged for excellence amongst Scottish producers is a huge honour for Innis & Gunn. We are proudly Scottish and strive to produce beers that do justice to our nation’s great heritage as a land of outstanding food and drink."
