Cambridge gets a twist
The Doubletree by Hilton Cambridge has unveiled its newly revamped Twist Bar.
Opening just in time for summer, the new bar features outdoor seating on the banks of the River Cam.
As the name suggests, expect contemporary cocktail classics with a twist. Signature creations include the Pearl Collins, made from pear, lemon and Earl Grey tea-infused gin.
A selection of punch bowls and refreshing, non-alcoholic iced teas are also available for groups looking to kick back and enjoy the start of summer.
The bar food offer is based around sharing platters of traditional English snacks, from mini Melton Mowbray pork pies to fishcakes, bite size venison sausages and, for pudding, Eton Mess, Sherry trifle and a Cambridge twist on the traditional crème brûlée
From June the bar will also be offering a punting and picnic package, as well as its very own outdoor pop-up mojito bar.
