Petrus returns to Belgravia
Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant Pétrus will reopen on 29 March in its new London location, 1 Kinnerton Street in Knightsbridge.
Head chef Sean Burbidge, who has worked at various Ramsay restaurants since 2003, will work closely with Ramsay’s executive chef Mark Askew to serve up a modern European menu.
Pétrus’ new home will feature an open cellar in the middle of the dining room, displaying over 2,000 bottles of wine, including 34 vintages of Château Pétrus.
Jean-Philippe Susilovic, who spent five years at restaurant director at Pétrus before it left the Berkeley Hotel, will return to his former post. Returning regulars will also be greeted by Pétrus’ trademark claret red colour scheme.
Up to six guests will be able to book the Chef’s Table overlooking the kitchen, allowing diners to witness the theatre taking place behind the scenes.
Pétrus opens its diary for reservations at 9am on 1 March. To book at table in the main restaurant, call +44 (0)207 592 1609; for Chef’s Table call +44 (0)207 592 1373.
