Purple Pages partners with cellar management specialists
Subscribers to JancisRobinson.com’s Purple Pages are now able to view the site’s 40,000 tasting notes directly from their CellarTracker and/or Vincellar accounts.
The complex integration requested by members of Purple Pages, allows users to see Jancis Robinson MW’s scores and suggested drinking dates from the two cellar management systems.
“I’m thrilled that the number of subscribers to Purple Pages continues to grow most gratifyingly, and we now have members in more than 100 countries,” said the wine writer.
“But I know that there is so much excellent wine-related information and opinion available free, that the popularity of Purple Pages will continue only if we offer more and more,” she added.
When it came to her choice of partners, Robinson commented: “Eric LeVine of CellarTracker and Stephen Bachmann of Vinfolio are the kings of cellar management systems”.
Elsewhere, the launch of erobertparker.com’s My Wines cellar management tool has been delayed due to administrative issues and the pace of software development.
