London Krug Room makeover

The Krug Room at The Dorchester in London has reopened this month complete with a swanky refurbishment and redesign.

The new look room is said to reflect the "heritage, elegance and subtlety that’s the underlying thread of both Krug’s and The Dorchester’s ethos".

When dining in the room, executive chef Henri Brosi will create a series of menus to highlight the particular characters of the different Krug cuvées, including Krug Grande Cuvée, Krug Rosé and many more Krug vintage wines.

Featuring walnut panelling, pendant lighting, a glass table and red leather chairs, the room is separated from the kitchens by a liquid crystal glass wall which can be converted into clear glass by the flick of a switch.

The room, which also includes a cellar of back catalogue Krug vintages, is available for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
