Historic auction house joins twitter

Historic auction house Bonhams has joined twitter. The business, founded in 1793, has signed up to the online community to promote its online catalogues, as well as articles from its magazine.

For those using twitter, you can now catch Bonhams tweets at www.twitter.com/bonhams1793.

Commenting on the new service, a Bonhams spokesperson said, “Our use of twitter is part of a pattern aimed at better communications. Bonhams magazine, website, public relations and advertising are all aimed at making it easier for clients to access Bonhams information at their convenience.”

Bonhams has a worldwide network of offices and regional representatives in 25 countries offering sales advice and valuation services in 57 specialist areas. For a full listing of upcoming sales, plus details of Bonhams specialist departments, go to www.bonhams.com.
