Cellar Trends to keep Grand Marnier until 2010
Cellar Trends has issued a release clarifying that it will remain as UK distributor for Grand Marnier until the end of March 2010.
The notice comes after reports in the press earlier this week created the misleading impression that the UK was included in the liqueur brand’s European distribution switch to Diageo, which is due to take effect from July this year.
Terry Barker, marketing director for Cellar Trends said: “The handover date is April 1, 2010 which is when our contract with Marnier Lapostolle, owner of the Grand Marnier brand, expires. It is business as usual until then. All customer orders should continue to be channelled to Cellar Trends.”
