HwCg Gunning for New Zealand

HwCg will introduce wines from Gunn Estate at this year’s LIWF, having taken on the New Zealand producer’s UK & Ireland distribution from today.

The two-tier premium range will be distributed through HwCg Specialist, which focuses on the independent, wholesale and on-trade sectors. The wines, produced mostly in Hawkes Bay, will retail between £7.99 and £14.99.

Gunn Estate forms part of the Sacred Hill Group, whose focus lies with producing quality, commercially driven wines across several regions and brands. As part of its distribution partnership, HwCg will also add to its portfolio the Reserve and Special Selection wines from the Sacred Hill range in July.

Simon Swa, export director for Sacred Hill, said: “With our shared commercial philosophies and Sacred Hill’s product offering, together we hope to deliver real quality, value and service to UK and Irish customers.”

The wines will be available for tasting during LIWF at the HwCg stand, S30.
