Tea with a twist
PLB Group has launched the UK’s first brewed alcoholic iced tea. Twisted Tea contains 5% alcohol and has already won an innovation award from one of the UK’s leading retailers.
Brewed in Cincinnati, USA, and currently the leading ‘flavoured malt beverage’ in its home country, Twisted Tea marks the latest addition to PLB’s branded beer portfolio, which the importer has been strengthening since the end of 2007.
Martin Howe, PLB brand manager for Twisted Tea, commented: “The UK’s retailer and consumer demand for NPD and innovation continues to grow and in response, Twisted Tea’s offering delivers a true iced tea taste with a unique 5% alcohol twist.”
