Crealis announces arrival of new CEO
By Jessica MasonWine and spirits closure business Crealis has revealed that Enrico Bracesco will become the international group’s new CEO.
Bracesco, who has more than 20 years of experience combining strategy and execution as well as extensive expertise in the industrial sector, takes over the group’s leadership from Michele Moglia who will become a non-executive chairman of the board.
The experience Bracesco brings includes valuable know-how in managing strategic transformations and leading growth acceleration projects, notably at Cimbali, equipment dedicated to the coffee world, and Technogym, world leader in fitness equipment.
Speaking about his appointment, Bracesco said: “I am very happy and excited to join the world leader in the capping and over-capping industry. Since its creation, Crealis has continuously demonstrated its ability to innovate and develop in its various markets thanks to the unwavering commitment of its employees. Despite a tense global context, our ambition is clear: to continue to be alongside our customers and to support them, guaranteeing the performance, elegance, and durability of our products,”
Describing how he is moving on, Moglia explained: “With a different role but with the same passion, I will participate alongside the Crealis team in building the future of the group. I also extend my gratitude to Enrico and wish him the best of luck in this new phase of the group’s growth.”

Bracaesco will be based in the Crealis headquarters in Italy and report directly to the group’s board of directors.
At the start of the year, Crealis released its first sustainability report from 2023, highlighting environmental, social, and governance (ESG) matters.
Looking more closely at the forward strides the business has made, db also recently recognised how the wine closures industry has come full circle, assessing how the sector has started embracing recycling, reusing and repurposing waste from the manufacturing process.
Last year, the company introduced sparkling closures made with Symbiosis, the new foil created by Crealis that could cuts emissions thanks to its innovative plastic-free design.
