Jason Momoa launches vodka into the UK
Aquaman star Jason Momoa and his business partner Blaine Halvorson have announced the launch of their Meili Vodka brand in the UK for the first time.
Meili Vodka’s founders have partnered with UK distributor Amathus Drinks to launch the spirit into the UK market from this week.
Momoa’s vodka brand is now available in the UK from Master of Malt and The Whisky Exchange for £43.95, and from Amathus Drinks for £43.20.
The Hollywood star, who also starred in hit HBO series Game of Thrones, first launched his spirit in the domestic US market in early 2023. Meili Vodka made its debut at the Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America’s (WSWA) alcohol industry event Access Live in April 2023, with Jason Momoa named keynote speaker.
Momoa launched the brand with friend and business partner Blaine Halvorson. The pair spent nine years developing Meili, distilled with water from an ancient aquifer in Montana.

The spirit’s bottles are made from 100% recycled glass which has been fired for repurposing and reuse. The spirit, which is 40% ABV and comes in 75cl bottles, is manufactured in Montana.
Jason Momoa and Blaine Halvorson commented on the UK launch: “It took us over nine years to perfect Meili, and it’s something we never compromised on – all our dedication, love for the craft, sustainability – and deep respect for the whole process went into this bottle – and we’re excited to share it with the UK.”
To celebrate the launch, Meili Vodka has announced it will host a series of events in collaboration with its UK distributor, Amathus Drinks, throughout the weekend of 8 March. The festivities will include a pub meet up, a launch event, and exclusive one-to-one interviews.
