Are you ready for Collabageddon 2024?
Berkshire-based Elusive Brewing is bringing together a dozen breweries to create 12 new beers which will pour in 30 venues across Britain.
The initiative, which is now in its seventh year and named Collabageddon, takes place on 15 November and will feature brews spanning styles from DIPAs to Belgian ales to porters from a selection of some of the UK’s best independent breweries all working together to bring British drinkers flavoursome beer.
Fans of each of the beers can share their thoughts socially using the hashtag #collabageddon2024 with drinkers encouraged to head to venues and tag in @elusivebrew and the breweries that created the beers.
Each of the 30 venues where the beers will be available include: A Hoppy Place in Maidenhead; Beer No Evil in Worthing; The Bookshop Alehouse in Southampton; Borough Beerhouse in Farnham; Brolly Taproom in Horsham; Burton Bridge Inn in Burton upon Trent; Canalhouse in Nottingham; Craft Brewed in Maidstone; Craft Republic in Barry; Fairfield Social Club in Manchester; Fuggles in Tonbridge; Fuggles in Tunbridge Wells; Inn Deep in Glasgow; The Kings Head in Stamford; Lost in Leith in Edinburgh; Radio City Social in Chelmsford; Rooster’s Taproom in Harrogate; Small Bar in Bristol; The Bailey Head in Oswestry; The Board Room in Folkestone; The Free Trade Inn in Newcastle upon Tyne; The Green Goddess in London; The Harlequin in Sheffield; The Nags Head in Reading; The Plasterers Arms in Norwich; The Rake in London; The Shirker’s Rest in London; The Town Mouse in Newcastle upon Tyne; The Woodworkers in Belfast and Tilt in Birmingham.

Style: DIPA
Description: Deep pale straw colour with a thick haze and a creamy white foam. Strong aroma of apricot and peaches. The taste is peach, fresh pine spruce and a robust bitterness.

Brewed by: Burning Sky x Otherworld Brewing
ABV: 6%
Style: Euro IPA
Description: A European inspired IPA brewed with Extra Pale malt and a portion of Spelt for a crisp finish. Hopped with fresh UK Target hops, Spalter Select from Germany and a small portion of Nelson Sauvin for a subtle lift. Peppery, with aromas of cut grass, gooseberry and grape.

Bright Lights, Big City
Brewed by: Duality x Elusive Brewing
ABV: 6%
Style: Bright IPA
Description: Low in bitterness but bright in appearance and flavour, with a punchy aroma. We used lots of fresh Citra in the whirlpool before dry hopping with Citra Cryo, Idaho-7 Cryo and farm fresh 2024 crop Nelson Sauvin from Eggers Hops.

Description: A Belgian-style Blonde Ale made with fresh orange peel and whole chamomile flowers to add delicate top notes and Amarillo hops for a modern twist.

Description: Rich and velvety, this porter is packed with decadent chocolate flavours balanced by subtle Belgian yeast esters. Hints of peppercorn, bubblegum, and light spice complement the tart burst of sour cherry, creating a complex yet perfectly balanced brew.

Description: A bold 6.6% West Coast IPA, infused with hand-picked Sitka spruce tips from the forests of Scotland. This collaboration delivers a unique beer, built on a balanced malt foundation of light crystal and Munich malts.

Style: DDH Pale
Description: Brewed using El Dorado, Strata and Strata CGX at a pale base recipe to bring about tropical and wafting cannabis notes on the nose. We really dialled up the dosage rates for this guy so expect lashings of tropical fruit, gummies, pineapple and lots of dankness.

Description: A deep amber-red colour beer, bringing aromas of citrus, tropical and stone fruits from the use of American Hops balanced with a spicy, bready rye malt backbone. On the palate expect a smooth mouthfeel with a clean, crisp finish that leaves lingering hop bitterness and subtle rye warmth. Balanced, bold, yet refreshing.
