Encirc celebrates its ‘superpower’ suppliers at new awards
Guala Closures and Smurfit Westrock were among winners at the inaugural Encirc Partnership Awards in London, designed to celebrate collaboration and innovation in the drinks industry.
The awards, held on Encirc’s Partnership Day, recognised outstanding contributions from suppliers, retailers, and strategic partners, who are shaping the future of the supply chain.
The day was hosted at The Londoner in Leicester Square and brought together more than 100 companies from across the industry. Attendees discussed topics and key themes for the sector, such as sustainability, cost management, and the importance of doing more with less.
The Partnership Awards will now become a regular feature of Encirc’s annual Partnership Day, it said, reinforcing the company’s commitment to “fostering stronger relationships and driving positive change across the beverages industry”.
Guala Closures took home three awards, solidifying its role as a leading supplier in the trade: Highest Performer in Supply; Highest Performer in Quality; and Dry Goods Supplier of the Year.
Richard Lloyd, Managing Director of Encirc Beverages, said the awards were the “perfect way to cap off a day dedicated to collaboration”.
He said: “These winners are shining examples of what can be achieved when we work together as an industry.
“Their contributions are driving real change, whether it’s improving sustainability, enhancing product development, or ensuring the highest standards of quality.”
Lloyd added that the awards highlighted the “immense talent and commitment” in the sector – describing the suppliers as “our superpowers”.
He concluded: “By recognising our partners’ successes, we hope to encourage further collaboration across the supply chain, helping the entire industry move forward with a united vision.”
