Château d’Estoublon ‘pioneers’ rosé in Asian markets

Provencal rosé producer Château d’Estoublon has completed a drive to bring its Roseblood range to new markets in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, including Taiwan, the Maldives and Australia.

Roseblood is tapping into the potential of APAC markets when it comes to rosé, hosting events and masterclasses to engage local markets.

In Taiwan, Roseblood’s local import partner No Limit, owned by Natasha Leung, organised a masterclass event in Taipei to launch Roseblood to local trade and influencers. Hosted by Roseblood APAC Brand Ambassador Ian Ford, the event featured the full line up of Roseblood wines.

Leung called Roseblood a “pioneer” in Asia when it comes to rosé. she said: “Rosé wine is not yet mainstream in Asia, particularly in Taiwan. As a pioneer, you have to see the potential before they become a reality. With the fundamentals of Château d’Estoublon, drinking Roseblood will be all the rage in Taiwan.”

Roseblood is also making its mark on the Maldives. Roseblood export director Andreina Fernandez, with regional importer Di-Vine Cellars, hosted a series of bespoke events across the different islands and resorts including Centara, Saai Lagoon, Hard Rock, Jawakara and SO Maldives, an Ennismore property with whom Roseblood now has a strategic partnership.

Château d’Estoublon recently announced the partnership between its rosé brand Roseblood d’Estoublon and Ennismore, the lifestyle branch of the Accor Group. From August 2024 Roseblood rosé and Roseblood blanc have been listed by the glass and by the bottle in over 100 Ennismore locations worldwide.

Its events in Taiwan and the Maldives were followed by Roseblood’s debut in Australia in October. To mark the occasion the House of Fine Wine and Élysée Collective hosted a launch event at the Promenade at Bondi Beach.

The estate is now co-owned by four of France’s big families – entrepreneur Stephan Courbit, Jean-Guillaume Prats of Château Lafite-Rothschild fame, and former President and First Lady, Nicolas Sarkozy and Carla Bruni.
