Champagne Duval-Leroy announces significant expansion in China
Champagne Duval-Leroy has inked a deal with Marriott Hotels to become the hospitality chain’s house Champagne across Mainland China.
The Champagne house, founded in 1859, announced a landmark partnership with Marriott Hotels this week, securing a strategic deal to feature Champagne Duval-Leroy as the house Champagne across all Marriott properties in Mainland China.
Champagne Duval-Leroy secured the deal via its partnership with ASC Fine Wines, its exclusive importer and distributor in the Chinese market.
Makoto Nagae, CEO of ASC Fine Wines, said of the new deal: “We are thrilled to partner with Marriott Hotels, a name synonymous with luxury and excellence. This collaboration allows us to bring the exceptional quality of Champagne Duval-Leroy to a wider audience, elevating the dining and celebratory experiences at Marriott properties across Mainland China.”
ASC Fine Wines has worked with Champagne Duval-Leroy to realise the maison’s plans for a significant expansion in the Chinese market.
Managing director Charles Duval-Leroy said he believes Champagne Duval-Leroy’s position “as an independent, high-quality house is a perfect fit for China”.
The partners have hosted a series of exclusive events across major cities in China. ASC also plans to introduce new labels to the Chinese market in order to appeal to the evolving tastes and consumption scenarios of Chinese consumers.
ASC Fine Wines has a portfolio of Champagne brands which it imports and distributes to the Chinese market.
