ProWein announces new hall layout for 2025

ProWein will present a new look and hall layout for next year’s show, under the motto ‘Discover the Taste of Tomorrow’. 

Alongside an “even more high-profile” ProWein Forum, which will address current business topics and masterclasses, the show will see more than 60 nations represented from across the world of wines and spirits.

A new “condensed” hall layout will take place across eleven halls featuring a number of countries from across the old and new world of wine.

Countries

Germany will occupy Halls 1 and 4, representing all wine-growing regions, the VDP, the Mundus Vini tasting zone as well as a gastro-lounge. A large organic area will see a number of exhibitors and associations with a special sustainability price. In addition the new low and no-alcohol segment has increased in size by half, and a special show on packaging and design will also move into Hall 4.

Italy will be represented in halls 15 and 16 with a large portfolio of companies, ranging from small boutique wineries to the larger producers in the international arena. In addition, all 20 regions will be represented including the Italian Trade Agency – ITA/ICE, which is planning an extensive programme with masterclasses and complimentary tastings.

France will be in Hall 10 and will also feature a Champagne lounge and an exclusive tasting of the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux on the ProWein Monday, and the France Forum by Business France. All growing regions will be on site including numerous market leaders such as Castel Frères, Albert Bichot, Boisset or Gérard Bertrand. In addition to the Champagne Lounge many renowned champagne houses like Nicolas Feuillatte, Champagne Pannier, Laurent Lequart, Champagne Lallier and Champagne Mailly will be present.

Spain will see producers such as Miguel Torres, Codorníu, Marqués de Cáceres, García Carrion, Spanish Fine Wines, Pere Ventura and Félix Solís, as well as regions such as Valenciana and Castilla y León, and participation of ICEX and La Rioja.

In Hall12 will be the new world, with the USA represented by California, Washington and Oregon. From South America, Chile, Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay will join with numerous producers from South Africa. Oceania will be represented with Australia and New Zealand, and Japan, Korea and China will represent Asia.

Portugal will be in Hall 9 with a strong showing also from central and eastern Europe with 15 expected country pavilions. Greece has also moved and will be in Hall 17 together with Austria.

Spirits

Launched very successfully at ProWein 2024, the ProSpirits brand will return to Hall 5. It will focus on trending themes such as whisk(e)y, low-alcohol beverages, rum and fruit brandies alongside traditional segments. Furthermore, a tasting zone and bar are planned by ISW (Meininger’s International Spirit Award).

The trend show ‘same but different’ will be in Hall 7.0 for the urban bar scene, and will include craft spirits, beer and ciders.
