Cloudy Bay’s AI chatbot helps you log-off emails

Moët Hennessy brand Cloudy Bay has launched an AI chatbot that “crafts” out-of-office email replies, so users can log-off for the summer with ease.

The New Zealand wine producer has introduced its Summer Fridays AI Assistant, which aims to be the first-of-its-kind AI chatbot that creates custom out-of-office email replies ,so consumers can log off of work quickly, and then soak in the summer with the brand’s Sauvignon Blanc.

The brand’s Summer Fridays AI Assistant was created to ensure work emails “don’t ruin the vibe”, the producer said.

In order to make it work, users can engage with the AI bot, sharing their weekend plans and return-to-work dates. In return, the Summer Fridays AI Assistant crafts a bespoke out-of-office message, which is then delivered straight to the user’s inbox.

From there, users simply copy-and-paste the reply into their out-of-office box on their email systems in order to “activate the ultimate work hiatus”.

In addition to the chatbot bespoke AI tool, the brand has created a Summer Fridays landing page online, which provides consumers with a collection of other information for their summer weekend’s entertainment. From the website, consumers can obtain hosting tips from experts, shop for summer “essentials”, and also order Cloudy Bay wines for delivery.

Campaign

The Cloudy Bay AI assistant marks a continuation of the brand’s U.S. market campaign, which includes Summer Fridays events throughout the summer, as well as strategic brand and influencer collaborations and consumer sweepstakes.

The AI bot and Summer Fridays site will run through the end of the summer.

Erica Kwei, general manager of wine estates at Moët Hennessy USA, said: “This innovative tool seamlessly blends new AI technology with the timeless art of entertaining, allowing consumers to disconnect from work and reconnect around good wine, good food, and good company.

“We’re so excited to help Cloudy Bay drinkers elevate their summer entertaining, so they can fully enjoy the special moments shared over a glass of Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc.”
