Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg’s Gin & Juice arrives in the UK
Global music icons Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg have launched their Gin & Juice ready-to-drink product into the UK market.
The product is the first ready-to-drink from their premium spirits company, and comes some three decades after the song Gin & Juice arrived into popular culture on Snoop’s album breakout album Doggystyle, which was released in 1993.
Taking its name directly from the Grammy-nominated song, it comes in four “all-natural” flavours: Citrus, Melon, Passionfruit, and Apricot.
It described Citrus as a “citrus-forward blend, balanced by rose and other soft botanicals”; Melon as a “smooth melon taste, with complexity evoked via crisp citrus and lush hibiscus”; Apricot as “mellow, elevated by a subtle honey finish and aromatic bergamot”; and Passionfruit as “tropical – heightened by bright, refreshing pineapple”.
Every Gin & Juice is naturally low in sugar and calories, with only 2 grams of sugar and 95kcal per 250ml can. It is made with real fruit juice and is 5.9% ABV, using no artificial colours or flavours. In addition, it is “subtly carbonated”.
The canned premium gin-based cocktails includes packaging designed by renowned artist and industrial designer Ini Archibong in order to reflect the hip-hop legends’ famed West Coast lifestyle.
Retail
Gin & Juice By Dre and Snoop will be available for purchase at nearly 1000 UK independent retailers by the end of the month, as well as on premise locations, summer music festivals across the region and online at bydreandsnoop.com and Amazon.
More offerings from the brand will be announced in the future, it said.
The spirits company is led by Patrick Halbert, Andrew Gill, and Rocco Milano – the leadership team that created On The Rocks Cocktails.
In addition to Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, investors include Jimmy Iovine, Main Street Advisors, Marc Rowan and Tom Werner.
Passion
Dr. Dre said: “Together, we always try to create magic, we’re having fun being creative, and everything about this product is really us.

“We’re shooting to make everything we do magnificent, and fortunately, most of the time we hit the target.”
Snoop Dogg added: “Look where we’re at in our careers. Look at our age and look at what we’ve done, and we still love each other, so why not do something together?
“A lot of times people have been in a relationship for thirty years and can’t talk to each other, can’t hang out, so it’s just fun to be in a partnership with people that you actually love.”
