You can now drink Whitstable Bay Black Stout at home
Shepherd Neame’s Whitstable Bay Black Stout has become available to buy in British supermarkets for the very first time.
The 4.2% ABV beer has been a popular choice on draught across its 300-strong estate of pubs and hotels across Kent, London and the South East but is now available in 500ml bottles in a range of Asda and Waitrose stores nationwide.
Speaking about the listing, Shepherd Neame brands marketing manager Rose Davis said: “This smooth stout is crafted using a unique blend of four malts which impart a rich, complex flavour, balanced by the finest Target hops. When poured from the bottle, the beer is finished with a smooth, creamy head which is perfect to savour alongside classic seafood dishes such as oysters or fish and chips, or on its own.”
Shepherd Neame national account manager Alex O’Connell added: “During the past 12 months we have seen a significant growth in the popularity of stouts across the off and on trade, and we are pleased to tap into this trend, allowing discerning drinkers nationwide to sample the silky smooth taste of our sensational stout at home.”
Whitstable Bay Black Stout will also be available to order from Asda and Waitrose online as well as via Shepherd Neame’s webshop and its brewery shop in Faversham.
