Football team creates Stella Artois-inspired shirt
OH Leuven played in the new shirts, which were also developed with the help of artificial intelligence, during a match against KV Mechelen.
Oud-Heverlee Leuven, which is also referred to as OH Leuven or OHL, is a Belgian professional football club from the city of Leuven.
It was created in 2002 from the merger of three clubs, F.C. Zwarte Duivels Oud-Heverlee, Daring Club Leuven, and Stade Leuven.
The team decided to make the shirt after various polls were undertaken of fans in the club’s app, with input and collaboration on the design.
Questions were asked of supporters about the colour, and also the type of neck, position of the badge, and the slogan on the collar.

In addition, many fans indicated that they associated OH Leuven with the Stella Artois beer.
This is because AB InBev brand Stella has been brewed in Leuven all the way back to 1366, it is claimed, and in the past 600 years has become closely associated with the town.
The lager is still brewed locally, and the brewery is a popular tourist destination.
As a result of the association with Stella, the third kit has included a yellow lager style design, which was designed with both the supporters input and the “help of AI” according to OH Leuven.
The new kit includes a gold shirt and white collar, and has been showcased during the last game against KV Mechelen.
Available for purchase online, the shirt is on sale as a limited edition.
