Tesla fan slams Elon Musk’s beer as ‘hot garbage’
Tesla Cyberbeer, which was launched last month to coincide with the launch of the Tesla Cybertruck, has been described by one fan of the electric car manufacturer as “hot garbage”.
Tesla Cyberbeer is hot garbage. Not only is the lid RUSTED but the beer is also nasty. This was a miss @elonmusk pic.twitter.com/Gb9u8YOc7X

Taking to Elon Musk-owned social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Brian Stone wrote: “Tesla Cyberbeer is hot garbage. Not only is the lid RUSTED but the beer is also nasty. This was a miss
@elonmusk”.
Stone, whose X bio mentions that he owns a 2022 Tesla Model S, revealed that he had bought three sets of the 7% ABV Helles Lager, at US$75 per bottle, and shared in the replies that he forced himself “to drink it all”.
Another user, AtomAntEater (whose profile picture is also of a Tesla car), defended the beer, replying to Stone: “My wife liked the Cyberbeer since it was a bit hoppy. I don’t like hoppy / IPA beer, but I found it tolerable. No rusty lid on ours. Just checked since I kept the bottles.”
The hops utilised in the brew, which was made by California’s Buzzrock Brewing Co., are the noble European varieties Saaz and Hallertau Mittlefruh. The tasting notes Tesla provides for the beer are: “herb and spice and more notable aromas of tea and citrus”. For US$150, the company sells a set with two bottles of the beer and two angular ceramic black beer steins.
